National Law University Delhi was honoured to host Hon’ble Justice Tejas Karia, Judge, High Court of Delhi, for an engaging session under the Certificate Course in International Commercial and Investment Treaty Arbitration, 2026, held on 23 August 2026.
The session was organised under the aegis of the Chair on International Commercial and Investment Treaty Arbitration, National Law University Delhi, under the patronage of Hon’ble Justice Indu Malhotra.
Justice Karia delivered an insightful lecture on “Challenges to and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards in International Commercial Arbitration in India.” Drawing upon his extensive judicial experience in arbitration and commercial disputes, His Lordship addressed key issues concerning challenges to arbitral awards, the statutory framework governing setting aside proceedings, and the evolving jurisprudence on the enforcement of arbitral awards in India.
The session offered participants valuable judicial and practical perspectives on contemporary issues in international commercial arbitration and provided an enriching platform for academic engagement and discussion.
