Ms. Shrishti Kedia
Academic Fellow
Shrishti Kedia is a UGC-NET qualified legal scholar currently serving as an Academic Fellow at the Centre for Criminology and Victimology, National Law University, Delhi. She holds an LL.M. in Criminal and Security Laws from Gujarat National Law University, where she completed her dissertation titled “A Study on the Importance of Victim Impact Statements in the Sentencing Process,” focusing on victims’ rights and their recognition within the trial framework. She also holds an LL.B. from ILS Law College, Pune, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Rights, Humanitarian Law, and Refugee Law from the Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi.
Her interests include criminology, victimology, human rights, and the philosophy of criminal justice. As a Research Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, she contributed to an international project examining immigration detention policies and their implications for human rights.
Previously, as a Content Writer with the International Agora under the Jindal Society of International Law, she authored analytical articles on international human rights, including the universalism–relativism debate and humanitarian issues surrounding the Israel–Palestine conflict. She has also engaged in legal research and drafting focusing on criminal law, sexual violence, and evidentiary jurisprudence.
