Assistant Professor (Law)
She primarily works in Insolvency and Corporate Law, with a focus on the functioning of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and emerging pre-insolvency resolution frameworks.
She holds an LL.M. in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws from NALSAR University of Law, is UGC-NET qualified, and secured AIR 6 in NICET. She has completed a training programme in commercial mediation with a special focus on insolvency, conducted by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, reflecting an interest in resolution frameworks.
Her publications in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes include “Corporate Fraud and Mismanagement in Insolvency Cases: Legal Implications,” “Evaluation of the Resolution Timeline and Effectiveness under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016,” “Comprehensive Study of the MSME Sector in India: Definitions, Challenges and Causes of Distress,” “Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments,” and a book chapter titled “Towards Equity: Bridging the Gender Pay Gap and Advancing Women’s Rights” in the edited volume “Women and Labour Laws in India: Challenges, Opportunities and the Road Ahead.”
She has prior experience in litigation and commercial disputes, including matters involving financial and corporate investigations before the NCLT and the High Court. This experience informs her academic engagement.
