Professor (Dr.) Ritu Sharma is a highly dedicated Professor of Sociology with over two decades of experience spanning higher education, advanced legal-sociological research, and institutional leadership. Throughout her career, she has developed deep expertise beginning with the Sociology of Children, extending through the Sociology of Crime and Deviance, the Sociology of Law, and complex Research Methodologies, alongside specialized frameworks in Self-Management.
Professor Sharma is uniquely skilled in designing and delivering comprehensive, modern curricula, mentoring the next generation of legal minds, and driving impactful empirical research. Her extensive contributions to institutional governance include fifteen years of dedicated service to university examination boards, and she currently serves as the Convenor of the Undergraduate Council. Additionally, her commitment to campus life and student development is reflected in her long-standing tenure as both a residential warden and the faculty advisor to the cultural committee.
