Priyanshi holds her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, where she strengthened her case‑law analysis and legal writing as an SCC Online Legal Research Ambassador. She then completed her LL.M. in Public Law at the National Law University, Delhi, graduating with distinction in her criminal law specializations.
At NLU Delhi’s Centre for Criminology and Victimology, Priyanshi served as an Assistant Researcher on a Bureau of Police Research & Development–funded study of radicalization, drafting the core chapters. Previously, she volunteered with NITI Aayog’s Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office, where she undertook cross‑sectional surveys for initiatives such as the PM Poshan Yojana and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, and prepared comprehensive reports. As a Student Research Associate with the Judicial Data Collaborative, she drafted a definitions page for legal terminologies across diverse jurisdictions for the Wiki Project.
Priyanshi’s publications include peer‑reviewed articles and op‑eds, and she has completed her public policy course offered by the University of Michigan. Her research interests lie at the intersection of criminal law and socio‑legal studies, with a particular emphasis on gender justice and data‑driven reforms.
