Ms. Rabia Mittal
Academic Fellow
Rabia Mittal is currently serving as an Academic Fellow in the prestigious WIPO-NLUD-IPO Joint LL.M. Programme in Intellectual Property Law and Management. She holds a B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) from Panjab University, Chandigarh, graduating with distinction, and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Trade Law from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. Her academic journey reflects a strong foundation in both civil and criminal law, complemented by a specialized focus on intellectual property rights.
Rabia has conducted extensive research in the field of intellectual property law, with several of her papers published in international journals. Her work spans diverse areas within IP, including copyright, design law, and their intersections with emerging legal issues. Her master’s thesis focused on the legal regulation of anti-piracy laws in the media and entertainment industry, featuring a comparative analysis of frameworks in the United States and South Korea.
In addition to her specialized work in IP law, Rabia has presented research on same-sex marriage jurisprudence at the International Conference on Women in Multifaceted Research (ICWMR). She remains actively engaged in community service and legal awareness initiatives.
