The team comprising Manya Gupta (V Year), Raghav Goyal (II Year), Suryansh Singh (V Year), Shrutika Gadling (IV Year), and Tanishq Desai (II Year) became one of only four Indian teams to break into the World Rounds, held in Washington D.C., USA.
At the World Rounds, the team secured the following honours
Manya Gupta was awarded the Ved P. Nanda Award for the Best Oralist in the World, the most coveted individual honour in international law advocacy. This makes her the first student from any Indian law school to receive this award in 53 years, the last being a student from Bombay University in 1973, and the first winner from NLU Delhi or any National Law University ever.
Raghav Goyal was ranked the 25th Best Oralist in the World out of over 550 oralists competing globally.
NLU Delhi extends its heartfelt congratulations to the team on this landmark achievement and looks forward to their continued excellence in representing the university on the world stage.
