A residential training program was conducted by the National Law University Delhi in collaboration with the Department of Financial Services (DFS) for the Registrars and Assistant Registrars of Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunals (DRATs) & Debt Recovery Tribunals (DRTs) from 28.10.2025 to 31.10.2025.
The training programme covered various essential subjects such as provisions of RDB Act 1993, SARFAESI Act 2002 and scrutiny of cases filed under these Acts. The role of Defence Headquarters Training Institute (DHTI) in facilitating the training on the administrative aspects like CCS (Conduct) Rules, POSH proceedings, Noting, drafting, Procurement through GeM Portal as per GFR 2017 provisions, Service matters, Record management and Disciplinary proceedings etc. was duly appreciated by everyone.
Additionally, the programme included topics such as eDRT, e-filling and scrutiny of the cases etc. The program successfully culminated with distribution of certificates by Sh. Shailesh Kumar, Deputy Secretary, DFS and Sh. S.D. Sharma, Under Secretary, DFS, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Dinesh Singh, Assistant Professor of Law and Training Coordinator.
