The day began with a session on Dispute Resolution and Consumer Protection, which explored consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, arbitration frameworks, and regulatory mechanisms. The discussion illuminated the evolving landscape of legal remedies and stakeholder protections in real estate.
Next, participants engaged with the session on Regulatory and Investment Aspects, gaining clarity on Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), their SEBI-regulated frameworks, and their growing relevance in shaping modern real estate finance.
The course culminated with a session on Financial and Taxation Aspects in Real Estate, focusing on financing strategies, GST implications, and tax considerations critical to structuring successful real estate transactions and investments.
