Since 2015, India has taken a momentous step in reaffirming its democratic principles by formally observing Constitution Day or Samvidhan Diwas on November 26th each year.

Constitution Day or Samvidhan Diwas is celebrated on November 26th each year. This day commemorates the completion of the Constitution of India in 1949, a historic milestone that laid the foundation for our vibrant democracy. It was formally adopted on January 26, 1950, and continues to guide our nation.

At NLU Delhi, we remain committed to upholding the values of justice, equality, and freedom enshrined in our Constitution. Through academic programs, research, and community engagement, we strive to foster a deep understanding and respect for the rights and duties that bind us as citizens of this great nation.

Let us come together to celebrate and honor the legacy of our Constitution and its pivotal role in shaping India’s democratic future.
