National Law University Delhi is proud to share that Lakshita Khurana and Himanshi Chugh, PGIP-LL.M. students at National Law University, Delhi, have emerged as the Winners of the 1st RGNUL National Corporate Liquidation Competition, organised by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law Division (IBLD-CBLT), RGNUL.
Competing against 30+ teams from across the country, Lakshita and Himanshi navigated rigorous Mock NCLT Rounds that tested participants on liquidation strategy, asset distribution mechanisms, claim treatment, and statutory compliance under the corporate liquidation framework, demanding a strong technical grasp of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code alongside a practical understanding of liquidation proceedings before the Bench.
The team’s victory carried a cash prize and an internship at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM). Their achievement reflects the analytical depth, advocacy skills, and domain knowledge developed through the programme.
NLU Delhi extends its heartfelt congratulations to Lakshita and Himanshi on this outstanding accomplishment and wishes them continued success in their academic and professional journeys.
