The Prof. Ghanshyam Singh Memorial Parliamentary Debate is one of the flagship events at National Law University Delhi. It has been organised for the last six years with immense success. The debate witnesses participation from Law Schools and Universities across the country, and has come to be recognized as one of the premier debates in India.
This year, the Prof. Ghanshyam Singh Memorial Parliamentary Debate hosted 38 teams from various Universities. The Chief Adjudicators were Eashan Ghosh, Raunaq Chandrashekar, Avani Vierra Tandon and Akshat Agarwal. The combined prize money for this edition was more than Rs. 1.5 Lacs under various categories like the Winning Team, the Runner Up Team, the Best Adjudicator and so on. After eight gruelling rounds of debate, Kirori Mal College of the Delhi University emerged victorious. St. Stephens College of the Delhi University were the runners-up.
