National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) takes pleasure in announcing that Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Gupta, Professor of Law at NLU Delhi, has been selected as a Visiting ASLI (Asian Law Institute) Fellow at NUS (National University of Singapore), Singapore for Academic Year 2024-25 (Semester Two). Prof Gupta is required to be in residence in the Faculty throughout the duration of the one month fellowship. The topic of her research is ‘Non-Compete Clauses in Employment Contracts: Doctrine of Restraint of Trade under the Indian Contract Act’.
This Fellowship programme aims at inviting full-time academics from ASLI member institutions to visit NUS Law for a short period to conduct research. It allows the fellows to free themselves from their teaching and administrative responsibilities and spend uninterrupted time at the NUS Law School to work on their research projects. The individual academics can come together to networking and building a community of scholars while sharing their research ideas and developing collaborative projects.
