On the Theme:
Legal Pluralism and Governance in the Global South: Challenges and Opportunities
The Inaugural Day of the event was held on 30 October (Day 1) at NLU Delhi. The Welcome Remarks were delivered by Prof. Ranbir Singh, Vice-Chancellor NLUD.
Introduction to the theme was given by Prof. Werner Menski, Professor of South Asian Laws at the School of Law, SOAS University of London.
Thematic remarks were made by Prof. Domenico Amirante, University of Campania “L. Vanvitelli” (University of Naples II).
A Book was launched by the dignitaries, titled ‘The Indian Yearbook of Comparative Law 2018’, which has been co-authored by Prof. M. P. Singh and Dr. Niraj Kumar.
Vote of Thanks was delivered by Prof. P. S. Jaswal, Vice-Chancellor RGNLU.
Presentations were made by Prof. M. P. Singh and Dr. Niraj Kumar, on ‘Introduction to Legal Plularism’.
Day 2-6 at RGNUL, Patiala (October 31- November 4), will involve multiple sessions and discussions by renowned dignitaries and academicians on the themes:
