National Law University Delhi, under the aegis of IQAC, proudly hosted a programme to commemorate Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti on April 7, 2025. The event began with the floral tribute and reading the Preamble of the Constitution, reaffirming their shared commitment to the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. Prof. (Dr.) Ruhi Paul, Registrar, NLU Delhi, welcomed all delegates and Prof. (Dr.) Maheshwar Singh delivered the introduction of the programme.
Dr. Rakesh Sinha, Former Rajya Sabha MP and Professor at the University of Delhi, delivered the keynote address on the theme “Social Justice and Equality: A Vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar for India,” offering powerful reflections on Dr. Ambedkar’s role in shaping an inclusive and equitable India, followed by an engaging lecture by Dr. Manu Kataria, Associate Professor, University of Delhi, on “Overview: Legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar,” shedding light on his enduring impact on Indian society and governance. Dr. Priya Rai, Coordinator, IQAC concluded the programme with a Vote of thanks.
