National Law University Delhi, in collaboration with Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India, inaugurated the Certificate Course on Real Estate Project Management and Financing on May 3, 2025. Coordinated through NLU Delhi’s Centre for Law and Urban Development (CLUD), this landmark two-day program brought together legal professionals, industry experts, and students to explore the complex intersection of real estate law, finance, regulation, and urban development.
The event commenced with an inaugural address by Prof. (Dr.) Ruhi Paul, Registrar, NLU Delhi, who emphasized the university’s commitment to fostering academic spaces that transcend traditional legal education. The course was conceptualized and launched under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Vice Chancellor, NLU Delhi, reinforcing the institution’s focus on socially relevant and practice-oriented legal education.
A key highlight of the inauguration was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NLU Delhi and Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India. The MoU formalizes a long-term commitment to collaboration, academic exchange, and the advancement of professional legal training.
Mr. Harry Chawla, Managing Partner at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India, signed the MoU on behalf of the firm. He also delivered expert insights on real estate project financing, followed by an engaging interaction with students and faculty. His presence added significant value to the event, bridging academic learning with industry practice.
