National Law University Delhi Library, takes immense pride in commemorating Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, a significant occasion that marks the adoption of the Constitution of India on November 26, 1949. This day reminds us of the visionary leadership of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the members of the Constituent Assembly who framed the Constitution of India.
The celebration of Constitution Day at NLU Delhi is intended to reinforce the values of justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity, which form the bedrock of our constitutional ethos. It aims to engage the academic community in reflecting upon the relevance and adaptability of the Constitution in addressing the contemporary challenges of governance and law.
The program was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Ruhi Paul, Registrar and Professor of Law in the presence of Faculties, Students and Administrative staff of University. The program followed with Preamble reading ceremony. The Library displayed Newspaper clippings related to the Indian Constitution and Books on Constitution of India on 26th Nov, 2024 at 11:30 in the Central Library of the University.
