National Law University Delhi organized a Gender Sensitization and Awareness Programme for teaching and non-teaching staff, along with an Orientation-cum-Training Session for members and facilitators of the Internal Committee, on 9th October 2025. Around 40 participants attended the sessions, which focused on promoting gender justice, equality, and inclusivity in academic and workplace environments.
Discussions highlighted legal frameworks, preventive measures against sexual harassment, and the role of sensitivity in promoting a safe and respectful campus culture. Prof. (Dr.) Upma Gautam, Professor, University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, served as the resource person for the programme. Coordinated by Dr. Sushila, Professor of Law and ICC Chairperson, the programme fostered awareness and a sense of collective responsibility toward ensuring gender-balanced institutional practices, while reinforcing NLUD’s commitment to promoting a gender-just and inclusive campus culture.
