      Mr. Harish Salve

      Shri Harish Salve is an Indian Senior Advocate who practices in the Supreme Court of India. He is a very experienced and senior lawyer with a global reputation for international commercial arbitration and litigation. His practice also encompasses public international law, human rights, civil fraud, public, energy and tax.

      Shri Harish Salve started his career as a Chartered Accountant doing exclusively taxation work. He later shifted to counsel practice and joined the Chamber of Mr. Soli Sorabjee (former Attorney General of India) in 1980. He served as the Solicitor General of India from 1 November 1999 to 3 November 2002.

      In 2013, Shri Harish Salve was admitted to the English Bar and subsequently joined the Blackstone Chambers as Senior Barrister. He was conferred with the Padma Bhushan (the third Highest Civilian Award in India) in 2015.
