Dr. Kheinkor Lamarr

Dr. Kheinkor Lamarr has a B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from National Law Institute University, Bhopal (2014), an LL.M in Public Law from National Law University Delhi (2015) and an M.Phil. in International Legal Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (2018). During her M.Phil. her research work was focussed on the area of Minority Rights in International Law. She qualified UGC-NET in 2016.
She has recently earned a Ph.D. in International Legal Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her doctoral work “Migration in International Law: A Case Study of Environmentally Induced Migration” focussed upon the current international legal and institutional framework on migration with specific reference to environmentally induced migration and migrants.
She has been a resource person at the Workshop on Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, organized by the District Social Welfare Office, Jowai, Government of Meghalaya. She has also been a resource person at a Seminar and a Lecture Series in Kiang Nangbah Government College, Jowai and Department of Philosophy, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, respectively. She has also presented research papers in national and international conferences. Prior to joining National Law University Delhi, she worked as Assistant Professor in Khadar Daloi Law College, Jowai, Meghalaya (Affiliated to North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong) teaching students in the three-year LL.B. course.
