The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in collaboration with Ministry of Law & Justice & National Law University Delhi organized the conference “UDYAMI BHARAT” on the theme “Legal reforms in the MSME Ecosystem” on 27th June 2024. Keynote address was delivered by Hon’ble Minister of MSME Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi that focused on dedicated efforts towards strengthening the Micro Sector and 6 pillars of growth for the MSMEs including, formalisation of the informal enterprises, aiding MSMEs in reaching the markets, adopting E-commerce platforms, using modern techniques to boost productivity, skill-building and digitization of the service sector.
The event was made auspicious with the presence of Hon’ble Minister of Law & Justice Shri. Arjun Ram Meghwal who highlighted the role of legal forms undertaken by the Government and Hon’ble Minister of State (MSME) Ms. Shobha Karandlaje empowering the MSME Sector to drive India towards becoming the 3rd Largest Economy in the World.
Prof(Dr.) Ritu Gupta and Dr. Prem Chand were eminent speakers at the event highlighting the role and need of Academic institutions in the creating awareness and skill development. Prof.(Dr.) Ritu Gupta talked about a spectrum of issues ranging from Green Technology to gender inclusivity that is fostered to build Sustainable Ecosystem of MSMEs. Dr. Prem Chand spoke of the importance of dedicated empirical research and information dissemination through training modules.
