National Law University Delhi successfully hosted a transformative two-day Certificate Course on Real Estate Project Management and Financing, offering participants a comprehensive deep dive into the legal, financial, and regulatory frameworks shaping India’s real estate sector.
Day 1 Highlights:
Four intensive sessions unpacked the foundational legal structures, transaction mechanisms, due diligence processes, and pivotal legislations such as the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) and land acquisition laws. The sessions also delved into risk mitigation, tenant rights, and the socio-economic dimensions of real estate law—creating a solid base of theoretical and practical understanding.
Day 2 Insights:
Participants engaged with high-level sessions on:
- Dispute Resolution and Consumer Protection under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- Regulatory and Investment Mechanisms, including REITs and AIFs within SEBI’s framework
- Financial and Taxation Strategies, covering financing models, GST implications, and tax structuring
