The Chair on Investment Treaties and International Commercial Arbitration at National Law University Delhi recently held the convocation ceremony for the inaugural Certificate Course in International Commercial and Investment Treaty Arbitration on 11 December 2025 at the Delhi High Court. The occasion was graced by the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court and Chancellor of NLU Delhi, Hon’ble Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, Former Supreme Court Judge and Patron of the Chair, Hon’ble Justice Indu Malhotra, and Vice Chancellor of NLU Delhi, Prof (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai.
The course, designed to strengthen capacity building in the field of international arbitration, attracted participants from diverse backgrounds, including practising lawyers and officials from various government departments. Over the four months, participants engaged with a rich blend of comprehensive lectures and practical sessions delivered by distinguished resource persons from India and abroad, including seasoned arbitration practitioners, senior government officials, and leading academicians.
