National Law University Delhi organised a sensitisation and awareness session for its administrative staff on 12th May 2026, focusing on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
The session was conducted by Ms. Nivedita Guhathakurta from Partners for Law in Development, who delved into gender constructs and provided valuable insights into the legal framework, institutional responsibilities, and the importance of fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace environment. The session also featured interactive discussions among participants. The session facilitated learning by offering hands-on experience through case studies, enabling a practical understanding of the issues and redressal mechanisms.
Such initiatives reaffirm the University’s commitment to promoting awareness, strengthening institutional mechanisms, and ensuring a dignified and secure workspace for all.
