The SC/ST Cell in collaboration with the Social Inclusion and Equity Committee (SIEC) at National Law University Delhi, commemorated Ambedkar Jayanti on 14 April 2026 at the Moot Court Hall, in the esteemed presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai and Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Risham Garg and the Coordinator SC/ST Cell of Dr. Prem Chand, along with faculty members, staff and students.
Floral tributes were paid to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, as members of the University community gathered to pay their respects and honour his legacy. The NLUD Library also curated a special exhibition on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, featuring books and newspaper clippings for the University community.
The observance served as a moment of reflection on Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring contributions and the values of justice, equality, and inclusivity that continue to guide the nation.
