A delegation from National Law University Delhi, in collaboration with the Women’s Collective Forum, had the honour of meeting Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Law & Justice.

The delegation was led by Prof. (Dr.) Risham Garg, Professor of Law & Registrar, and included Dr. Nidhi Gupta, Associate Professor, Dr. Garima Tiwari, Associate Professor, and Ms. Vibhuti Sharma, Academic Fellow.
During the meeting, NLUD presented the White Paper “Democratising Dispute Resolution: A Way Forward for MSMEs”, developed jointly with the Women’s Collective Forum, proposing reforms to strengthen accessible, efficient, and cost-effective ADR mechanisms for MSMEs.
The delegation also shared the report “Women-Centric Criminal Law Reforms in India”, highlighting the need for stronger institutional safeguards and gender-sensitive implementation of the new criminal laws.
The discussions focused on building inclusive legal frameworks, strengthening ADR ecosystems, supporting entrepreneurs and women-led businesses, and advancing a more accessible and responsive justice delivery system in line with the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
