      CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – RESEARCH ASSOCIATES (CENTRE FOR CRIMINOLOGY AND VICTIMOLOGY)

      National Law University Delhi is inviting applications for 02 (two) Research Associates.

      Type of Employment – Contractual; Full-Time; On-Site

      Duration – One-year engagement, extendable subject to university approval.

      Location – National Law University, Delhi

      Stipend – Rs. 50,000 / month

      About the Project

      De-criminalisation of Industrial Laws in the State of Chhattisgarh

      CCV is undertaking a systematic review and rationalisation of the industrial regulatory framework of the State of Chhattisgarh, with a specific focus on the decriminalisation of business and industrial laws.

      In this context, CCV is seeking to engage two Research Associates with demonstrable expertise in legislative research, statutory interpretation and drafting, and regulatory reform.

      Responsibilities

      • Assist in systematic review, research, and analysis of industrial and regulatory frameworks.
      • Conduct doctrinal and comparative legal research.
      • Support drafting of reports, amendment proposals, and draft legislation.
      • Prepare research briefs and analytical memoranda.
      • Coordinate with project investigators and stakeholders.
      • Contribute to allied activities as required.

      Essential Requirements

      1. Undergraduate degree in Law (B.A. LL.B / LL.B)
      2. Knowledge of Criminal Law, Administrative Law, and Constitutional Law
      3. Demonstrable research experience in Criminal Law/allied subjects

      Desirable Requirements

      1. Post-Graduate degree in Law
      2. Experience in legislative drafting
      3. Experience in cross-jurisdictional legal research
