We are pleased to announce that the team representing National Law University Delhi, comprising Aadya Mital and Kanav (Batch of 2029), emerged as Quarter Finalists at the 8th NUJS International Mediation Competition 2026, organised by the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, in association with Khaitan & Co.
The competition commenced with preliminary rounds held online on 1 February 2026, witnessing participation from over 56 teams. The team delivered an outstanding performance in this stage, securing 4th position in the negotiation segment and qualifying among the top 16 teams for the advanced rounds.
The advanced rounds were held at the NUJS Kolkata campus from 28 February to 1 March 2026, where the team progressed through the Octa-Finals and advanced to the Quarter Finals in a highly competitive field.
The NUJS International Mediation Competition is widely regarded as one of the premier ADR competitions in India, attracting participation from leading law schools across jurisdictions and testing participants on negotiation strategy, mediation skills, and problem-solving in complex commercial disputes.
