Today marks the beginning of the 2nd VSA Conference on Mapping Victim Support Strategies in the Asian Region!
Hosted by Victim Support Asia (VSA) in collaboration with National Law University, Delhi (NLUD), this international conference, held on 9th & 10th November 2024, brings together government representatives, criminal justice agencies, practitioners, academics, and experts from across Asia.
The conference, themed “Mapping Victim Support Strategies in Asian Region,” is dedicated to exploring innovative strategies to ensure that all crime victims across Asia have access to essential rights and services, regardless of whether they report the crime. This gathering exemplifies NLUD’s steadfast commitment to advocating for victims’ interests by fostering collaboration and advancing support structures for those affected by crime.
We are honored to welcome esteemed guests Sh. Rajesh Bindal, Judge, Supreme Court of India; Mr. Yong Woo Lee, President, Victim Support Asia; Ms. Rosa Jansen, President, Board of Directors of Victim Support Netherlands; and Michael O’Connell, a renowned victim advocate. Their participation reflects a shared global commitment to advancing the rights and services for all victims of crime across Asia.
