BRIEF REPORT
The National Law Commission for Women (NCW) collaborated with the National Law University Delhi (NLUD) to organize a Regional consultation on Jan. 18, 2018 on the following two themes:

Mrs.Soso Shaiza and Smt. Kamlesh Gautam, Members, NCW were guests of honour. Prof. (Dr.) Ranbir Singh, Vice-Chancellor, NLUD presided over the inaugural session.
Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Gupta, Professor Coordinator from NLUD introduced the concept to the participants at the onset of the Inaugural session. Prof. (Dr.) Ranbir Singh welcomed the participants and discussed the need for such consultations on the themes in his presidential address. Ms. Meenakshi Gupta, Member-Secretary NCW in her address picked up the thread from the last consultation organized by the commission on one of the topics of the present event. The inaugural session was followed by a group photograph and high tea.
The experts in both the sessions came out with relevant suggestions followed by lengthy thought provoking arguments by the participants. The resource persons and the representatives of various ministries interacted with each other over the lunch. A detailed report of the same is under preparation.
