NLU Delhi’s PhD Scholars conducted a legal awareness session for high school students of Mount Carmel School, Dwarka. The presentations were based on the Street Law model, where students were made aware of their legal rights and remedies available. The PhD students, in two groups, gave two presentations: one on cyber-bullying and one on consumer rights. The presentations were lively and included an experiential component where the high school students got to practice applying the concept in small groups and then reporting back to the large group.
The presentations were conducted as a culmination to the PhD’s coursework course on Research Ethics and Publication, which was supervised by Professor Margaret who is a Fulbright Research and Teaching Scholar at NLU Delhi.
