MoU between National Law University Delhi and CBI Academy Ghaziabad
National Law University Delhi, and CBI Academy, Ghaziabad have today, on August 29, 2019, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), mainly for a cooperative partnership in order to undertake mutually beneficial research and analysis, and conduct training and capacity building programmes to meet the missions of CBI Academy and NLU Delhi.
CBI Academy, Ghaziabad, caters to the training needs of CBI Officers; Officers of other Law-Enforcement Agencies, Vigilance Officers of Government departments/PSUs, and Law Enforcement officers of foreign countries including SAARC countries, ASEAN and African countries. It provides basic training, in-service training and induction training for the officers joining on direct recruitment and deputation.
National Law University Delhi is committed to greater understanding of contemporary issues of public concern relating to rule of law and the objectives enshrined in the Constitution of India and to the translation of research findings to help address significant community and social problems relating to law enforcement.
On behalf of CBI Academy, Shri Sharad Agarwal, its Director, and Prof. (Dr.) Ranbir Singh, Vice-Chancellor NLUD and Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Bajpai, Registrar NLUD, signed the MOU. The NLUD fraternity congratulates the CBI Academy for this collaboration and their future endeavours together.
