Consultancy Meeting at Law Commission of India
The Law Commission of India has invited Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, National Law University Delhi to provide consulting inputs to the ongoing studies in the realm of Criminal Law & Reforms on 25th April 2023.
The Commission sought inputs on its various reports on the subject viz. Age Determination of Juvenile, Sedition Law, Amendments in Prevention of Corruption Act and Laws relating to Bail.
The Commission further requested National Law University Delhi to provide research assistance in some of the above mentioned projects by way of deploying a team of researchers. The Commission appreciated the University’s contribution in various research reports and a particular mention was made about genesis of report no. 277 on ‘Wrongful Prosecution’
Prof. Bajpai has agreed to provide regular support to Law Commission of India on its various ongoing projects besides supporting the Commission in various upcoming projects.
