Centre for Comparative Studies in Personal Laws, NLU Delhi, organized a National Conference on Administration of Justice in India: Aims, Challenges and Alternatives. It was a crucial step aligned with the ICSSR Project ‘Indigenous Mechanisms for Dispensation of Justice in India: An Analytical and Comparative Study with the UK and China’.
The objective of the Conference cries for an urgent need for a speedy and inexpensive justice system. The Slow Judicial system harvests multiple socio economic issues such as poverty and social unrest.
The Conference has accepted papers making an in-depth analysis on issues with the present system for administration of justice in India, its challenges, impact on development of the nation and necessary solution and judicial reforms needed to fulfill the aspirations of a Welfare State.
We successfully conducted the Conference through online mode wherein the presenters explained their topics of presentation and the panel members provided their insightful opinions to them.
