CENTRE FOR INNOVATION, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COMPETITION (CIIPC)
The Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property and Competition (CIIPC) has been established at NLU Delhi with the aim of supporting academic and policy oriented dialogues in the areas of innovation, IP and competition.
CIIPC will focus on -
- interdisciplinary legal research in the areas of innovation, IP and competition,particularly using the law and economics approach
- contemporary issues of fundamental and empirical nature
- legal and policy training in innovation, IP and competition
- building a network of scholars in the areas of innovation, IP and competition
The Centre has already initiated two major research projects –
Patents and Competition(Principal Investigator: Mr Yogesh Pai)
Open Science for an Innovative India: The legal and policy reforms required for strengthening open science movements in India (Principal Investigator: Dr Arul George Scaria).
