Sania Ashraf
Communications Officer
Sania graduated in English Literature from the University of Lucknow in 2014. She pursued a master’s degree in English Literature from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi (2016) and a master’s degree in Convergent Journalism from AJK MCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi (2019). She studied International Relations and Human Rights Laws at Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po (2020) as part of the Erasmus student exchange program. As part of her post graduation, she produced a photo book titled, “A Great Hope Fell” which dealt with mental health, and subsequently featured in an issue of PIX magazine (2019). She also worked on two multimedia projects titled, “Love in the Time of Honour” and “Rooted | Unrooted”. She has worked as a correspondent at Outlook and as an Account Executive at Torque Communications. She has previously interned at Financial Express (Online) and The Quint. She also has bylines in The Wire, India Times and The Diplomat.
