Call for Applications – CREATe IP Summer Summit Fellowships, University of Glasgow,

June 26-30, 2017

 

 

The University of Glasgow, in collaboration with the National Law University Delhi, is organising the CREATe IP Summer Summit (CIPSS’17) at University of Glasgow from June 26 to 30, 2017. The theme of the summit is ‘Open Science and Open Culture’, with a special focus on development in the Global South. In this regard, we are pleased to announce that two fellowships are available for students attending this summit. The fellowship will cover the tution fees for the summit, flight tickets and accommodation. The University of Glasgow has also offered to provide a 50% fee waiver for a limited number of students.

 

Eligibility: Any student who is enrolled in a full time LL.B. or LL.M. program in any university in India is eligible to apply for this fellowship.  

 

Application procedure: Interested candidates are required to submit their applications by email to registrarnlud@nludelhi.ac.in, with the following documents-

  1. Curriculum Vitae
  2. A short note on ‘Relevance of Open Science for India’ (max: 1000 words)
  3. A scanned copy of your college/ university identity card

 

Subject line of the email should be “Application for the CREATe IP Summer Summit Fellowship’.

 

Application Deadline: May 3, 2017, 10:00PM.

 

Selection criteria: The selection for the fellowships will be based on the quality of the written submission and the interest/ experience of the candidates in the area of open science and open culture, as is evident from their CV/ publications. National Law University, Delhi reserves the right to conduct an interview for the shortlisted candidates. Please note that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
