Ph.D. Programme AILET 2016 Results
Admission to the Ph.D. programme of National Law University, Delhi is based on a three tier system
1. Clearance of AILET / exempted in case of UGC NET/JRF/SELT and M. Phil;
2. Clearance of Research Proposal by Scrutiny Committee;
3. Clearance by the Doctoral Committee based on the presentation of Research Proposal
The following minimum eligibility criteria are applicable to AILET-2016:
- 50 % Marks & above for candidates belonging to General, and PWD Category
- 40 % Marks & above for candidates belonging to SC and ST Category
The list of candidates based on merit, as well as category wise and list of candidates who are exempted (candidates with UGC NET/JRF/SELT and M.Phil) from AILET-2016 is uploaded on the University website i.e. www.nludelhi.ac.in.
All qualified and exempted candidates shall submit research proposal as per the guidelines available on the website. All such proposals would be examined by a constituted scrutiny committee. The scrutiny committee shall recommend three times candidates to total seats available whose research proposals are approved by the scrutiny committee on the basis of merit. These candidates would be called to make a presentation before the Doctoral Committee on the proposed topic of research on a date notified by the University. The last date for the submission of research proposal is 30th July 2016.
