Professor Sachidhanandam S. former Vice Chancellor, T.N. Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai is presently a Visiting Professor at NLU, Delhi since July, 2021.

He practiced law for three years. Entered law teaching (1971) in T. N. Legal Education Service in Madras Law College as Jr. Professor of Law and thereafter worked in Tiruchirappalli, Madras, Madurai and Thirunelveli as Professor and principal (1971-2004).

Resumed practice for a while and continued to teach in Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai (2004 - 2007). Became it's Vice Chancellor (2007 - 2010). Joined NLU Delhi as Visiting Professor (2010-2017) and at NLU Odisha (2018 – June, 2021).

His specialization is in teaching:  Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, International Law, Tax Law, Judicial Process, Basics of Logic.

He was a member of various Academic bodies in Tamil Nadu, and at NLU Delhi, NLU Thiruchirappalli, NLU Odhisa etc.

He was instrumental and conducted the T.N. Law Entrance Examination for four years (1985-88, 1996, 2002)

He headed the team for the  Seminar on  INDO-AMERICAN NUCLEAR DEAL in the  University of READING in 2008. Also visited CARDIFF and LONDON Universities, 4inns, Comparative law centres in London

Presently, he is also engaged in writing on "Universality of Life end Law" a book on Philosophy series.
