Debate on ‘Social Media and Free Speech – How Much is Too Much? – organized by the American Centre, New Delhi
The American Centre in New Delhi organized a debate on ‘Social Media and Free Speech – How Much is Too Much?’ on 31st May 2017. The theme of the debate was ‘Whether the society is best served by a monitored/policed social media-sphere or by one that is totally free focusing on security considerations, cyber-bullying, and invasion of privacy.’ A team consisting of Bhism Khanna, K. Laxmanan, Atul Yadav , Abhinav Hansa and others from NLU Delhi participated in this debate. The team from NLU Delhi were adjudged winners in both – for the motion and against the motion.
