Winter School - Law, Justice and Sustainable Development (January 15-30, 2020)


Winter School is being organised on the theme of Law, Justice and Sustainable Development, from 15-30 January 2020 at NLU Delhi


The winter school is collaborative endeavour of the Centre for Law, Justice and Development, NLU Delhi, National Academy of Law Teachers, NLU Delhi and the University of Antwerp, under the Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.


The inaugural session of the Winter School was held on 15 January 2020, and was graced by academic luminaries introducing the two-week long programme. Prof. (Dr.) Ranbir Singh, Vice-Chancellor NLU Delhi, delivered the Welcome Address, and Prof. (Dr.) Upendra Baxi, Distinguished Professor, delivered the Inaugural Address.


Several academicians are involved in conducting various training sessions during the winter school on topics related to Law, Justice and Sustainable Development, namely: Prof. B. S. Chimni, Prof. Wouter Vandenhole, Prof. Upendra Baxi, Prof. Liliana Lizarazo Rodriguez, Prof. M. P. Singh, Prof. Uma Chakravarti, Dr. Radhika Chitkara, Prof. Babu Mathew, Enakshi Ganguly, Prof. Bharati Baveja, Dr. Amita Punj, Ms. Madhu Mehra, Prof. Rukmini Sen, Dr. Papori Bora, Prof. Dr. Poonam Batra, and Mr. Aditya Pratap Singh Rathore.
