Baroness Helena Kennedy's visit to NLUD on Jan. 22, 2018 |

Baroness Helena Keneddy, sitting member in the House of Lords and in the Special Counsel to Queen in the UK along with a delegation of six other members of Sheffield Hallam University visited the National Law University, Delhi on Monday, 22nd January 2018. Baroness Helena Kennedy (Queens Counsel) initiated discussion on the subject ‘Human Rights and Justice for Women and Girls' and gave an in-depth insight into the law of UK as well as shared her experiences on the topic with the faculty members. All the members of the delegation also shared their views. This was followed by an interaction with the faculty members. Prof. (Dr.) Ranbir Singh, VC, NLU Delhi and Prof. G.S. Bapai, Registrar, NLU,Delhi extended a warm welcome to the Baronnes Keneddy and the delegation. |
