TEACHERS’ TRAINING PROGRAMME ON JURISPRUDENCE

The National Academy of Law Teachers (NALT), NLU Delhi is organising a week-long training programme on Jurisprudence. This programme entails an engagement with certain identified areas of legal philosophy focussing on questions like the nature of law, its relationship with morality, moral justifications/concerns with respect to legal approach towards various issues, relationship between law and varied approaches to justice in the global context, South Asian contribution to legal theory as well as critical perspectives to law. Professor Upendra Baxi has kindly consented to be a part of the programme and would be leading the deliberations. The programme would also be led by renowned academicians, senior scholars with extensive teaching and research experience in legal philosophy. Academicians, scholars and practitioners engaged in teaching and researching jurisprudence or having an interest in legal philosophy may register for the programme.

Last Date for Registration: December 05, 2017

Registration Fee: Rs. 3000/- (Three Thousand) (Non Refundable) is chargeable as course fee to cover the expenses of reading materials, boarding and lodging of participants. As the seats are limited, the prospective participants are requested to register for the course on early basis. The seats will be reserved only on first come first serve basis due to limited availability of lodging at University guest house. Registration fee may be deposited through Demand Draft. Demand draft should be drawn in favour of ‘REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY DELHI’ payable at Delhi.
