UpComing Events Details
The National Law University, Delhi is proud to be hosting the 2016 UNCITRAL Asia and Pacific Day, with a special focus on the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, (Vienna, 1980) (CISG).
NLUD in association with the UNICITRAL RCAP – will be marking this special occasion with the following events on 17-October-2016: -
I. Roundtable on Stakeholder Consultation: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
II. Public Lecture: 2:30-3:30 pm; “Whether the Uniform Sales Law is likely to aid in ‘Ease of doing Business’ and ‘Enforcing Contracts’ in India?”
III. Symposium: 4:00-6:00 pm, “Towards a Regime of Uniform Transnational Commercial Laws for India: Commercial Courts and the way ahead”
In addition to the above, an essay competition is also being organised:-
IV. Essay Competition: “Specific issues under CISG vis-à-vis Sale of Goods Act 1930 India”: Final date of submission of entries: 23-October-2016.
