NLU Delhi wins the national rounds of Louis M. Brown International Client Consultation Competition

The national rounds of the ‘The Louis M. Brown and Forrest S. Mosten International client consultation competition 2015′ took place in KLE Law College, Bangalore from the 20th till the 22nd of February 2015. The Louis M. Brown competition was founded in 1985 and tests the skills of a lawyer to provide a complete consultation and advice to his client.

 

The national rounds have been conducted in India since 1999. 40 Teams across India took part in the competition this year. The format was a direct break to semi-finals after two preliminary rounds. The team comprising of Pranshu Paul (student of 5th Year) and Pratik Tayal (student of 4th Year) broke 2nd into the Semi-Finals. The other Semi-Finalists included GNLU, HNLU and V.M. Salgaocar College of Law. The finals were between NLU Delhi and V.M.Salgaocar College of law which were adjudicated by Prof. N.R. Madhava Menon and the Ex-ASG of Karnataka.

 

The team from NLU Delhi has qualified for the international rounds to be held in April at the University of Newbraska, USA to represent India.
