Capsule Course in Law for Probationers of Indian Defence Estates Services

National Law University Delhi in association with National Institute of Defence Estates Management conducted two weeks Capsule Course in Law for 17 Probationers of Indian Defence Estates Service from 24 March -04 April 2014. The probationers were provided basic orientation to Law and Procedures relating to defending of court cases and matters about administration of Cantonment Board and manage defence lands. NLU Delhi and ADRg Mediation Training Programme

A Mediation Training Programme was organized from the 24th- 28th November, 2014 by NLU Delhi in association with the ADR group, London. This intensive course ran for forty hours, and aimed at providing its participants with core skills in mediation, along with a cross-cultural understanding that would prove useful while practicing in each of the thirty countries that the certificate granted would allow its delegates to practice in. Successful delegates were granted ADRg International Mediator Accredited status and Civil Mediation Council accreditation.    
 

T.O.T. for Prison Officials

National Law University Delhi in association with Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Academy of Prison and Correctional Administration (APCA), Penal Reform International (PRI) U.K and Penal Reform and Justice Association (PRAJA) organized a training programme for the Indian Prison Officials from 18-21 February 2014. The aim for organizing this training programme was to provide information on new techniques in prison management, discuss complex topics such as security, overcrowding and prison health and explore new and emerging topics in prison management. 

One Week Orientation Course on Law for the Officials of Controller General of Defence Accounts

National Law University, Delhi organized one week orientation course on law for the officials of Controller General of Defence Accounts from 10-14 February 2014 in association with Controller General of Defence Accounts, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi. This training programme covered topics such as Overview of Indian Legal System, Compliance of Court orders, Basics of Prevention of Corruption Act, Basics of Indian Contract Act, Basics of Arbitration Act, Basics of Information Technology and Cyber Law, Public Procurement Process, Right to Information, Vishakha Guidelines etc.
