Presently she is pursuing her Doctorate in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her Research Topic is ‘Street Children in Delhi: A Sociological Study. She has completed her M. Phil. in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her areas of interest are Sociology of Crime and Deviance, Sociology of Law and Research Methodology. Before joining this University, she was teaching at Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur.
She has an experiencing of working with various National and International level organisations. She worked with Project Concern International (PCI) as Data Management Specialist. She was also involved with Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, where she completed a project on ‘Prevalence of Asthma in Delhi’ as a Researcher. She also assisted the faculties of Panjab University, Chandigarh and Brown University, USA.
