 Dr. Jeet Singh Mann

Areas of Interest and subjects Taught: Labour Laws, ADR, Consumer Protection Laws, Land Laws, Agriculture Laws, Company Law, Investment Laws and Law of Torts.


He has obtained his LL.M. Degree from the Jodhpur University and M.B.A. from the National Institute of Personnel Management, Kolkata. He has been awarded his Ph.D. in 2007 from Faculty of Law, M.S. University, Baroda, Gujarat, Topic for research Study “A critical study of comprehensive social security scheme pertaining to labourers in organised sector in India: Social, Economic & Legal perspective”.


He has worked as An Honorary Lecturer at Faculty of Law M.S.U. Baroda, Editor at The Tax Publisher, Jodhpur and Assistant Professor (Law) at NLU, Jodhpur. He has been a Member of Research Board, Business Law (Hons.) Group, Legal Aid Committee, Course Co-ordinator and Member of Proctorial Board, during his stay at NLU, Jodhpur. He has also presented lectures during Faculty Orientation Programmes on various topics such as Lecture Method-As a Tool of Teaching Learning Methodology, Case Presentation Method: A Tool of Teaching Learning Methodology etc. at NLU, Jodhpur. He has delivered lectures at the Advocates Training Programme at NLU Jodhpur in 2007 & 2008. He has been a Member of Seminar Organising Committee on Medical Negligence, in February, 2009. He has been teaching PG & UG students. He is working as Associate Professor (Law) in NLU, Delhi since July, 2009.


He has attended 9 National Seminars and 1 International Seminar. His book titled “The Comprehensive Social Security Scheme for Workers in India” is under Publication. 27 Research Papers of Dr. Mann, have been published in various National Law Journals. He is presently working on book titled “Law of Negligence under the Torts”. He has keen interest in Research activities especially Empirical Research.
